Wuxi Petrochemical Equipment Co., Ltd (WPEC) is located alongside the beautiful Tai lake, it is a stock company, and was established in 1982. WPEC is one of members of China Petrochemical Corporation (SINOPEC)' resource market, and grade one network supplier of China National Petroleum Corporation. It has been appraised by Wuxi city as Enterprise Standing By Contract for many years and was appraised by Jiangsu province as Enterprise With New Advanced Technique in 2000. The total area of WPEC is more than 60,000m2 and there is a building's area of 25,000m2 in the factory battery limit. The possessory assets are more than ¥90 million; Annual sales are ¥80 million. 本公司主要生产一、二、三类压力容器。有液化石油气储罐、塔器，以及浮头式、U形管式、及固定管板式换热器, 波纹管强化传热换热器，管线分离器, 立式多管分离器，卧式多管分离器，石油化工设备，油田设备，长距离输气站设备等；碳钢，低合金钢和不锈钢制的各种非标设备，如分离设备及其系统、翼阀、喷嘴、塔盘等，还生产隔热耐磨耐火浇注料和不锈钢复合钢管等。
The main products of WPEC are pressure vessels of grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3. For example, LPG tanks, towers and floating head, U-tube or fixed tubular heat exchangers & condensers, heat exchangers with heat transfer enhanced by corrugated pipe, gas line cyclones, vertical multi-tube cyclones, horizontal multi-tube cyclones, the equipments for petrochemical industry, oil field, long-distance gas line station. In addition, we manufacture nonstandard equipments made of low carbon steels, low alloy steels and stainless steels, such as cyclones and cyclone systems, trickle valves, high-efficiency feed nozzles, trays, heat insulating and wear-resistant cast refractory, stainless steel clad tube etc.

In the past ten years, WPEC led a road of producing combined with learning and research, and invested a lot in scientific & technical research. It is a scientific research factory under the instruction of The Science & Technology Development Department of SINOPEC. There is a large-scale cold simulation engineering test unit for fluid bed and gas-solid separation, which was jointly designed by University of Petroleum, Beijing Design Institute (BDI) / SINOPEC and Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Co.（LPEC）/SINOPEC, and was invested partially and constructed by WPEC. With the technical support of University of Petroleum and Design Institutes, We undertook many national and ministerial research items, and made great achievements. WPEC successively acquired three national awards, six ministry awards, with some items are in application, and some items are undertaken research and development. Especially PV high efficiency cyclone and it's design technique obtained Second-Class Medal Of National Science And Technology Progress Achievement Award, and First-Class Medal Of SINOPEC' Technology Progress Achievement Award, at the same time, being placed as a part of 1990's-1995's National Famous & Important Technology Items To Be Promoted, which is developing technique to reduce coking reaction and intensify regeneration. The main technical properties of PV high efficiency cyclones have reached the advanced level inChina; they have been used widely in catalytic and cracking unit of refinery, thermoelectricity, chemical industry, environment protection etc.
